Higashio Osamu Kanshuu Game

Ever wanted to play detective on your Game Boy? Higashio Osamu Kanshuu nails that old-school mystery vibe—you’re basically a Japanese Columbo, poking around crime scenes, interrogating shady characters, and piecing together clues. The pixel art’s got that grainy charm, and the cases start simple before throwing curveballs at you.
First case had me stuck for way too long because I missed a tiny detail in some background art—turns out the real killer was hiding in plain sight. The dialogue’s all in Japanese, so unless you’re fluent, you’ll need a guide or patience (or both). But there’s something satisfying about cracking a case even when you’re half-guessing what people are saying.
Not gonna lie, the gameplay’s clunky by modern standards, but if you’re into retro detective stuff, it’s weirdly addictive. Just don’t expect Phoenix Wright-level drama.
