About Hello Kitty No Hanabatake
Hello Kitty No Hanabatake came out for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1992, published by Character Soft. It was one of many simple, colorful games for the platform, aimed at a younger audience and featuring Sanrio's popular character.
You control Hello Kitty through a series of garden stages. Your main goal is to water every flower in the stage while avoiding animals and insects that wander the area. Kitty can defend herself by swinging a large mallet to temporarily stun these creatures. If you run into an enemy, Kitty cries and you lose a life; letting the stage's timer run out has the same penalty. The game offers infinite continues, so the only real consequence for failing is losing your score. There are 18 unique stages, with the second half presenting a noticeable difficulty spike that becomes manageable once you master the movement and timing. Playing it feels like a straightforward, methodical task of tending a garden while gently fending off distractions.
