Hammerin' Harry is one of those NES games that feels like it should've been way more popular. You play as this construction worker dude swinging a giant hammer, smashing through waves of enemies—office workers, sumo wrestlers, even guys in business suits. It's got that classic arcade vibe where everything moves just a little too fast, and you'll die a lot at first until you get the rhythm down.
The European version came out in '92, but honestly, it plays just like the Japanese arcade original—same weirdly satisfying hammer physics, same chaotic levels where you're bouncing off conveyor belts or dodging falling girders. The music's catchy in that repetitive 8-bit way, and the bosses are ridiculous (wait till you see the sumo guy).
It's not deep, but there's something weirdly fun about wrecking a corporate office with a sledgehammer.
