Gurander Musashi Rv (japan) Game

Gurander Musashi RV is one of those weird little Game Boy gems that never made it outside Japan. It's a turn-based RPG with a samurai twist—you play as Musashi (yeah, that Musashi), wandering around feudal Japan, dueling enemies in grid-based battles. The sprites are tiny but charming, and the combat actually makes you think a bit before swinging your sword.
First few minutes? You’ll get thrown into a fight almost immediately, figuring out how positioning works—standing diagonally actually matters here. The music’s got that classic Game Boy chiptune vibe, all bleeps and bloops, but it weirdly fits the whole samurai aesthetic. Not gonna lie, the menus are in Japanese, so if you don’t know the language, you’ll be poking around a bit. Still, the combat’s intuitive enough that you can muddle through.
Definitely a niche pick, but if you’re into retro RPGs with a different flavor, it’s worth a look.
