Great Greed EasyType came out for the Game Boy in 1992, developed by Namco. It was part of that wave of early 90s handheld RPGs, a time when developers were figuring out how to fit big adventures onto that small green screen. You control a hero tasked with stopping an evil force that is polluting the world. The main goal is to cleanse the land by defeating monsters and restoring nature. A key mechanic involves feeding various items to your character to permanently raise your stats, which makes finding and managing your inventory crucial. The pacing is fairly brisk for an RPG of its time, and the difficulty is manageable if you take the time to build your character.
