Goukaku Boy Series - Z Kai (reibun De Oboeru) Chuugaku Eigo 1132 (japan) Game

This one's a weird little Game Boy gem—basically a study tool disguised as a game. You're drilling through 1132 middle school English sentences (all in Japanese, obviously), trying to pick the right grammar or vocab to complete them. Not exactly an action-packed adventure, but if you're trying to brush up on English while stuck on a train with only your Game Boy, it gets the job done.
The format's simple: a sentence pops up with a blank, and you pick from four options. Some are painfully easy ("I ___ to school every day"), others make you second-guess yourself. The kanji readings are there if you need 'em, which is nice. Honestly, half the fun is seeing how they localized English examples for Japanese kids—some of these sentences feel straight out of a 90s textbook.
It won't replace your English teacher, but for a retro study aid, it's oddly charming in that old-school edutainment way. Just don't expect any power-ups or high scores.
