This one's a quirky little Game Boy title from Japan—basically a flashcard-style game for learning idioms and proverbs. You get 210 common kanyouku (set phrases) and kotowaza (proverbs) to drill through, with multiple-choice quizzes and fill-in-the-blank challenges.

At first glance, it feels like homework—until you realize how satisfying it is when you finally remember that "neko ni koban" means throwing pearls before swine (literally "gold coins to a cat"). The pixelated teacher character even nods approvingly when you get one right. Weirdly charming for what’s essentially a study tool.

Definitely niche, but if you're grinding Japanese vocabulary or just love obscure edutainment games, it’s got that late-90s Gakken charm. The kanji can be brutal if you're not intermediate level, though.
