Golf Classic Game

Golf Classic on Game Boy is one of those deceptively simple games that hooks you fast. You pick your club, adjust your aim with those chunky pixel grids, and pray the wind doesn’t wreck your shot—spoiler: it usually does. The courses look basic at first glance, but there’s some sneaky challenge here, especially when you’re trying to land on those tiny greens.
What surprised me was how much strategy actually goes into it. Do you go aggressive with the driver and risk the rough, or play it safe with an iron? And putting? Way harder than it should be—those grids don’t lie. It’s got that classic Game Boy charm where the music loops endlessly and the graphics are gloriously blocky, but somehow that just adds to the vibe. If you’ve got a soft spot for retro sports games, this one’s a solid time-killer.
