Golden Nugget 64 is basically a mini Vegas trip crammed into your N64. You boot it up, and suddenly you're surrounded by that classic casino hum—slot machines dinging, chips clinking, all that good stuff. The graphics won't blow your mind by today's standards, but back then? Felt like stepping onto the actual casino floor.
Blackjack, poker, roulette—it's all here, and weirdly addictive. I spent way too many late nights trying to beat the AI at Texas Hold'em (they play dirty, by the way). The controls take a second to get used to since you're using a controller instead of actual cards, but once it clicks, you'll be tossing virtual chips around like a high roller.
Honestly, it's one of those games that shouldn't work as well as it does, but there's something about the vibe that keeps you shuffling back in. Just don't blame me when you lose track of time yelling at a pixelated dealer.
