God Medicine (english Translation) Game

Okay, so God Medicine is one of those weird little Game Boy RPGs that somehow slipped under the radar—probably because it never left Japan until the fan translation. You start off as this kid (or maybe a young alchemist? The intro’s a bit vague) who stumbles into brewing magical potions that can do anything from healing wounds to straight-up warping reality.
The first 10 minutes feel like a mix of Pokémon’s menu-heavy combat and an old-school dungeon crawler, except instead of swords, you’re throwing vials of mystery liquid at enemies. Some recipes backfire hilariously—like, yeah, that "cure poison" potion just turned the boss into a giant chicken. Oops.
It’s janky in that classic Game Boy way, but there’s something charming about how ambitious it is for a tiny cartridge. If you’re into obscure retro RPGs with more experimentation than polish, this one’s a trip. Just save before testing any new potions.
