God Medicine Game

God Medicine on the Game Boy is this weird little gem where you play as a healer—not your usual sword-swinging hero. You start off gathering herbs and mixing potions, which sounds chill until you realize some of these "ailments" are actually curses from shadow monsters. The pixel art has that cozy, slightly janky Game Boy charm, and figuring out which remedy works on what (spoiler: trial and error) is oddly satisfying.
It’s part puzzle, part adventure—you’ll wander through villages where people are coughing up black smoke or turning into stone, and your job is to flip through this ancient recipe book to fix them. Sometimes you mess up and accidentally give someone a laxative instead of an antidote, but hey, nobody said healing was easy. The music’s got that classic tinny GB vibe, too—haunting in a way that sticks with you.
If you’re into retro games with a twist, this one’s worth digging up. Just don’t expect flashy combat—your biggest weapon here is a well-brewed tea.
