Go! Go! Tank is one of those early Game Boy games that feels simple at first—just a little tank rolling around blasting enemies—but gets surprisingly intense. You start off in this tiny overhead map, weaving between obstacles while enemy tanks and helicopters try to take you out. The controls are basic (d-pad to move, A to shoot), but the stages get cramped fast, and dodging bullets while returning fire is way harder than it looks.
What I like is how the game doesn’t hold your hand—no power-ups, no fancy upgrades, just you and your reflexes. The music’s got that classic Game Boy chiptune energy, too. It’s not a deep strategy game or anything, but if you want a quick, no-nonsense arcade-style challenge, this one’s solid. Just don’t expect to clear it on your first try.
