Ghostbusters II on Game Boy is basically the pixelated little brother of the movie sequel—same spooky vibes, but with way more chunky sprites. You’re busting ghosts again, but this time you’re dealing with that weird pink slime from the film. The controls take a second to get used to (why does jumping feel so stiff?), but once you get the hang of zapping specters and dodging floating furniture, it’s oddly satisfying.
It’s not the deepest game—you mostly walk left to right, trap ghosts, and occasionally fight a boss—but there’s something charming about how it squeezes the movie’s chaos into a tiny cartridge. The music’s got that classic Game Boy bleep-bloop energy, too. Just don’t expect it to blow your mind.
