About George Foreman's Ko Boxing (usa, Europe)
George Foreman's KO Boxing came out for the Game Boy in 1992, published by Acclaim Entertainment. It arrived when portable boxing games were still a novelty, offering a straightforward take on the sport without the frills of later titles.
You control a boxer working through a circuit of opponents, aiming to become the champion. The fight view is from a side perspective, and you move your fighter left and right to dodge and close distance. You throw jabs and hooks with the buttons, and a well-timed punch can stun your opponent, setting them up for a knockout. The pacing is deliberate; you watch for openings rather than swinging wildly. Matches can feel tense as you manage your stamina and look for that one clean shot to end the fight. It feels like a patient, tactical brawl on a small screen.
