Genjin Cottsu is one of those weird, charming Game Boy games that feels like it got lost in translation—in a good way. You play as this caveman dude who just... throws rocks at stuff? There's something oddly satisfying about the way he winds up and chucks them, even if the controls take a minute to get used to.
It's got that classic early '90s jank—some of the jumps feel a little unfair, and the enemies pop up out of nowhere sometimes. But the pixel art has this rough, hand-drawn charm, and the music sticks in your head way longer than it should. Definitely one for the "so bad it's good" crowd.
If you're into obscure retro games with more personality than polish, this one's a weird little time capsule.
