About Gekitou Stadium!! (japan)
Gekitou Stadium!! was a Japan only release for the Nintendo Entertainment System, published by Irem. It came out during a time when the NES library was full of straightforward competitive games, and this one fit right into that category without much fanfare.
In the game, you control a single boxer and move him around a small ring to fight an opponent. The main goal is to knock out the other fighter before your own health is depleted. You have a few specific punches at your disposal, like jabs and hooks, and you must manage your positioning to land them effectively while also blocking incoming attacks. The pacing is quite fast, and the difficulty can spike sharply, demanding quick reflexes and good timing. It feels like a tense, back and forth struggle where one wrong move can cost you the match.
