Gameboy Gallery 2 is basically a love letter to early Game Boy days—it’s packed with those simple, weirdly satisfying mini-games Nintendo used to bundle with their systems. You’ve got Vermin (whack-a-mole but with tiny pixel hammers), Flagman (memory game with a dude waving flags), and Ball, which is just… bouncing a ball. Sounds dumb until you realize you’ve been at it for 20 minutes.
The controls are stupidly simple—just A and B buttons—but some of these games get sneaky hard. Flagman starts throwing four-direction combos at you when you least expect it. I always forget how much the chiptune music gets stuck in your head, too.
If you’ve got a Game Boy lying around, this is one of those "just one more try" kind of carts. It’s not flashy, but there’s something weirdly comforting about the way these mini-games waste your time.
