Okay, so this is basically a Tamagotchi game for the Game Boy—except instead of just feeding and cleaning up after your little digital pet, you actually go on mini-adventures with it. You start by picking one of those classic Tamagotchi creatures (I always go for the dinosaur-looking one, no regrets), and then it’s this weird mix of raising sim and side-scrolling action.

At first, you’re just walking around a simple overworld, but then you jump into these short platforming levels where your Tamagotchi tags along. Sometimes it helps you, sometimes it gets in the way—classic Tamagotchi behavior, honestly. The pixel art’s super cute, and the controls are simple enough that you won’t rage-quit after five minutes. It’s definitely one of those "wait, why was this never released outside Japan?" games.

If you’ve got nostalgia for either Tamagotchi or chunky Game Boy platformers, this one’s a weird little time capsule.
