GB Genjin is one of those weird little Game Boy gems that never made it outside Japan. It's a spin-off of the Bonk series—you know, that caveman with the big head who headbutts everything? Yeah, that guy.
This one’s a side-scroller with some RPG-ish elements, which is kind of a fun twist. You still bonk enemies (obviously), but there’s also this weird leveling system where you collect meat to power up. Classic Bonk logic—because of course eating meat makes your headbutts stronger.
Graphics are chunky and cute, and the music’s got that classic Game Boy bleep-bloop charm. If you’re into retro platformers or just love Bonk’s particular brand of caveman chaos, it’s a neat little oddity to dig up.
