G.A.S.P!! Fighter's NEXTream is one of those weird, underrated N64 fighters that slipped under the radar. At first glance, it looks like another 3D brawler, but the second you start a match, you realize how chaotic it gets—characters bounce off walls, stage hazards come out of nowhere, and the combo system lets you pull off some ridiculous air juggles if you time it right.

The roster’s a mix of anime-style fighters and bizarre original designs (one guy’s literally a living furnace), and the arenas are anything but static. One minute you’re fighting in a dojo, the next the floor collapses and you’re brawling mid-air. It’s janky in that classic N64 way, but once you get the hang of the movement, it’s stupidly fun with friends.

Not gonna lie, the controls take some getting used to—expect a few accidental self-destructs before it clicks. But when it does? Pure mayhem.
