Frisky Tom is one of those Game Boy gems that feels simple at first—until you realize how sneaky that dog is. You play as Tom, this hyper little cat just trying to cause chaos, but there's always some overeager mutt hot on your tail. The neighborhoods are full of dumb little obstacles like fences and trash cans, and half the fun is watching Tom scramble over them while the dog crashes face-first.

The power-ups are ridiculous in the best way—one second you're just running, next thing you know you've got roller skates or a trampoline. The dog never gives up though, so you gotta stay sharp. The pixel art has that classic Game Boy charm, all chunky and expressive. It's the kind of game where you'll yell "oh come ON" when the dog nabs you at the last second, then immediately hit restart.

Definitely a solid pick if you're into that old-school chase dynamic. Just don't blame me when you get obsessed with beating your high score.
