About Frankenstein:the Monster Returns
Frankenstein: The Monster Returns came out for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1991, published by Bandai. It was part of that wave of side scrolling action games that filled the NES library, a straightforward adventure without much fanfare.
You control a young hero who sets out to rescue a kidnapped girl named Emily from the resurrected Frankenstein monster. You move screen by screen through forests, caves, and a castle, using a sword to fight off zombies, bats, and other fantasy creatures.
