Fish Dude on Game Boy is one of those weird little games that somehow sticks with you. You play as this dopey-looking fish swimming through maze-like levels, dodging jellyfish and grabbing treasure—nothing groundbreaking, but there’s something oddly satisfying about it. The controls are simple (just swim left or right, really), but some of those later levels get surprisingly tricky.
The pixel art has this goofy charm, especially the way your fish flips around when you change direction. And yeah, it’s definitely nostalgic—if you grew up with a Game Boy, it’ll probably remind you of those afternoons spent squinting at a dim screen. Not the deepest game out there, but it’s got personality. You’ll either bounce off it in five minutes or end up weirdly determined to finish the whole thing.
