About Fire Bird
Fire Bird was released for the Nintendo Entertainment System, though I don't recall the developer offhand. It came out during that period when the NES library was full of games trying different things, and this one definitely had its own approach.
You control a bird, navigating through a series of single-screen rooms. Your main goal is to find a key in each stage to unlock the exit. The signature mechanics involve picking up and throwing blocks to clear paths or defeat enemies, and you can also collect power-ups that change your attack, like shooting fireballs. The game is methodical; you have to plan your moves because one wrong step can send you back to the start of the stage. It feels like a careful, sometimes tense, puzzle where every action matters.
