Family Trainer - Manhattan Police is one of those weird, kinda janky NES games that makes you wonder what the devs were thinking—but in a fun way. You play as a cop chasing down crooks in Manhattan, but here's the catch: it's part of the Family Trainer series, so you're supposed to use that goofy floor mat controller. Good luck not tripping over yourself while running in place.
The sprites are tiny, the controls are clunky, and the whole thing feels like an early attempt at motion gaming before anyone figured out how to make it work. Still, there's something charming about how ridiculous it is—especially when you realize you're basically playing a proto-Wii Fit cop simulator. If you're into retro oddities, this one's worth a laugh.
Just don't expect a deep crime-fighting experience unless your idea of justice involves hopping on a plastic pad.
