Famicom Jump: Eiyuu Retsuden is this weird, awesome crossover RPG from the NES era where all the big Shonen Jump manga characters team up. You start off picking your squad from guys like Goku, Kenshiro, and even that dude from City Hunter—total 80s nostalgia trip.
It plays like a mix of turn-based battles and overworld exploration, but the real fun is seeing how they mashed up all these different series. The sprites are chunky but full of personality, and the music’s got that classic Famicom charm. Some of the mechanics feel a little clunky now, but back then? Pure magic.
If you grew up with these characters or just love retro oddities, it’s a blast to see how they handled a crossover before it was cool.
