About Fifa Soccer '96
EA Sports released FIFA Soccer '96 for the Game Boy in 1995, a time when having a full soccer game in your pocket was still a novelty. This was part of the wave of sports titles trying to translate the console experience to the small screen, and it arrived with official licenses for teams and players, which gave it a sense of authenticity on the handheld.
