F1 Boy (japan) Game

F1 Boy is one of those early Game Boy racers that feels janky at first but weirdly grows on you. The cars handle like they're on ice, and the tracks are dead simple—just a few turns and long straights where you’re basically flat-out the whole time. But there’s something oddly satisfying about nailing the timing on those slippery corners.
It’s got that classic late-80s F1 aesthetic, with tiny pixel cars and a chiptune engine whine that somehow makes your Game Boy speaker sound like it’s about to give up. You’ll start in the back of the pack and fight your way up, which is tougher than it sounds when your car loves to fishtail. Not exactly a deep sim, but perfect for quick bursts of old-school racing chaos.
If you’re into retro racers, this one’s a neat little time capsule—just don’t expect Gran Turismo.
