F-Zero X is one of those games that still feels fast even decades later. You’re thrown into these wild, twisting tracks with 29 other racers, all jostling for position at speeds that make your eyes water. The first time you hit a boost pad and your machine just launches, it’s pure adrenaline—until you immediately slam into a wall because, yeah, the handling takes some getting used to.
The tracks are insane, looping around in impossible ways, and half the fun is just trying not to fly off the edge. And if you do? No respawn delay—you’re right back in the action, which keeps the chaos nonstop. The music’s this heavy metal soundtrack that somehow makes everything feel even faster. It’s brutal, but in the best way possible.
Still holds up as one of the N64’s most intense racers. Just don’t blame me when you spend hours trying to shave half a second off your best time.
