F-1 Race on Game Boy is this weird little racing game where you zip around tight tracks with these tiny, kinda slippery cars. At first, it feels basic—just accelerate, brake, and try not to spin out—but the handling’s got this weird weight to it that makes nailing turns oddly satisfying.

The best part? Before each race, Mario, Donkey Kong, and a few other Nintendo characters pop up like they’re judging your life choices. No idea why they’re there, but seeing them cheer (or laugh at you) after a race never gets old. The tracks get brutal fast, though—good luck not smashing into walls on the later circuits.
