Extreme-G on the N64 is basically F-Zero on steroids—those futuristic bikes absolutely haul down twisting neon tracks, and the sense of speed is borderline ridiculous. The first time you hit a boost pad and your screen starts blurring, you’ll white-knuckle the controller just trying not to slam into a wall.
It’s got that classic late-90s techno soundtrack blasting in the background, which somehow makes drifting around hairpin turns at 500 mph feel even more intense. Some of the later tracks get downright sadistic with their loops and drops, but nailing a perfect lap without wiping out is stupidly satisfying.
Just don’t expect deep customization—you pick a bike, grip the controller tight, and try not to scream when you miss a jump. Still holds up as one of the N64’s wildest racers.
