Extreme-G on the N64 is basically F-Zero if F-Zero let you blast the other racers with missiles. You’re on these wild, neon-drenched anti-gravity bikes, hitting insane speeds while dodging plasma shots and dropping mines behind you. The tracks twist upside down, loop around, and sometimes just vanish beneath you—half the challenge is not flying off into the void.
At first, the speed feels manageable, but once you hit the later circuits, it’s like your bike’s on a sugar rush. The soundtrack’s all late-’90s techno, which somehow makes crashing into a wall at 500 mph feel cool. And yeah, you’ll crash. A lot. But when you finally nail that perfect drift around a corkscrew turn while sniping the guy in first place? Pure magic.
Just don’t expect deep customization—this is pure arcade chaos with a side of motion blur.
