Exerion came out for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1983, a time when the console's library was still taking shape. Jaleco published it, and the game was an early example of a vertical scrolling shooter on the platform. You pilot a small ship against waves of enemy craft and formations. Your main goal is simply to survive as long as possible, clearing the screen of foes while dodging their return fire.
