Elmo’s Letter Adventure is one of those weirdly charming N64 games you’d only find in the kids’ section—bright colors, simple puzzles, and of course, everyone’s favorite red monster. You basically run around Sesame Street helping Elmo grab floating letters while avoiding obstacles like Oscar’s trash can or Cookie Monster’s snack attacks. It’s super basic, but the animations are surprisingly smooth for an N64 title, and the voice clips are pure nostalgia.
Honestly, it’s not exactly a challenge if you’re older than six, but little kids will probably love the mini-games, like matching letters or spelling simple words. The controls are clunky by today’s standards (because, well, N64), but it’s got that weird early 3D platformer charm. If you’ve got a younger sibling or just want a dose of Sesame Street nostalgia, it’s a decent time. Just don’t expect deep gameplay—Elmo’s here to teach ABCs, not deliver a speedrunning masterpiece.
