About Eikou No Saint Andrews
Eikou No Saint Andrews came out for the Nintendo 64 in 1999, a Sega release that felt a bit out of place on a Nintendo console. It arrived during a time when 3D platformers and adventures were really defining the N64 library, and this game offered its own take on that style. You don't see many people talking about it now, but it was there.
You control a young knight, moving through a world viewed one screen at a time. Your main goal is to explore dungeons and collect pieces of a sacred artifact. The gameplay involves sword combat against various monsters and solving environmental puzzles to progress. It moves at a deliberate pace, and some of the later puzzles can be quite challenging. Playing it feels like a quiet, methodical journey through a forgotten storybook.
