Eggerland: Meikyuu No Fukkatsu is one of those old-school NES puzzlers that looks cute but will absolutely wreck your brain if you're not careful. You play as Lolo, this little blue blob guy, pushing blocks, dodging enemies, and collecting hearts to unlock doors—sounds simple, right? Nope. The first few levels ease you in, but by the time you hit the middle stages, you'll be staring at the screen for way too long trying to figure out the exact order to move stuff without trapping yourself.

It's got that classic HAL Laboratory charm—bright colors, weird little enemies, and that satisfying "click" when a puzzle finally comes together. The Japan-only release means some of the text is in Japanese, but honestly, you don't need to read much to get sucked into the gameplay. Just be ready to reset a lot when you accidentally block your only path forward. Still, there's something weirdly addictive about it—even when you're stuck, you keep coming back to try one more time.

If you like methodical, think-ahead puzzles with a side of retro cuteness, this one's a solid pick.
