Earthworm Jim 3D is one of those weird, wonderful N64 games that feels like it was dreamed up at 3 AM after too much soda. You play as Jim, a worm in a robotic suit, blasting through levels that range from junkyards to alien planets—all with that same offbeat humor the series is known for. The controls take a second to get used to (that hover move is both a blessing and a curse), but once you do, it’s pure chaotic fun.
Some of the level designs are genuinely clever, like the zero-gravity section where you’re dodging floating cows. And yeah, the graphics haven’t aged perfectly, but the sheer personality makes up for it. If you’re into games that don’t take themselves too seriously, this one’s a solid pick.
