ECW Hardcore Revolution is that chaotic, chair-swinging wrestling game you remember from the N64 days—if you were into the whole "extreme" wrestling scene back then. The roster’s stacked with ECW legends like Sabu and Tommy Dreamer, and yeah, they actually look like their real-life counterparts, which was rare for wrestling games at the time.
First thing you’ll notice? The matches are brutal. Weapons everywhere, no rules—just pure, unfiltered mayhem. The controls take a minute to get used to, especially if you’re coming from something like WWF No Mercy, but once you figure out how to properly smash someone through a table, it clicks. Some of the animations are janky, but that kinda adds to the charm.
It’s not the most polished wrestling game on the N64, but if you’re after that specific ECW vibe—blood, barbed wire, and all—this is the closest you’ll get. Just don’t expect a deep career mode or anything fancy.
