Dungeon Land is one of those weird little Game Boy strategy gems that slipped under the radar. At first glance, it looks like a simple dungeon crawler, but there's this whole chess-like movement system where you're sliding your party of adventurers around tile by tile. Took me a few tries to realize positioning matters way more than brute force—get flanked by skeletons and you're toast.

The pixel art has that classic cramped-but-charming Game Boy vibe, and the dungeons get surprisingly devious later on. I kept getting wrecked by the third floor until I figured out how to bait enemies into traps. Definitely one for strategy nerds who don't mind some trial and error.
