Scrooge's primary tool is his cane, which you use to bounce on enemies and objects like a pogo stick. You also use it to hit certain rocks and crystals to uncover hidden items or pathways. The game is structured screen by screen, and you often need to find a specific item or character in one stage to progress in another. The difficulty is fair but requires precise jumps and timing, especially in the later stages. It feels satisfying to master the pogo jump and clean out a stage of all its gems and secrets.
