DuckTales for the Game Boy came out in 1990 from Capcom, a developer known for its tight controls on the NES. This was a time when a good portable game was a real find, and this one translated the console experience into something you could take with you.
You control Scrooge McDuck, navigating through levels screen by screen. Your main goal is to hunt for treasure, which involves using Scrooge's cane like a pogo stick to bounce on enemies and reach higher platforms. You explore different themed locations, from African mines to a Transylvanian castle, solving environmental puzzles and collecting diamonds and other valuables.
