Duck Tales on the Game Boy is basically the portable version of that classic NES game where Scrooge McDuck bounces around on his cane like a pogo stick. It’s got the same treasure-hunting levels—the Amazon, Transylvania, even the Moon—but squished down for the tiny screen. The controls feel a little stiffer than the NES original, but hey, you can whack enemies with your cane while waiting for the bus.
Music’s still catchy as hell, though. That Moon theme? Yeah, it’s here too, just in crunchy Game Boy sound. If you’ve got nostalgia for the cartoon or just like old-school platformers, this one’s a solid time-killer. Just don’t expect it to be as smooth as the console version.
