Duck Tales on the NES is one of those classic platformers that just holds up. You play as Scrooge McDuck bouncing around on his cane like a pogo stick—which sounds ridiculous but feels surprisingly good once you get the timing down. The levels are packed with hidden treasures and shortcuts, and the music? That Moon theme still slaps.
It’s short but tough in the right places, especially if you go for the true ending. The controls are tight, though I still occasionally faceplant into spikes because I got greedy for extra gems. Definitely one of Capcom’s best Disney licenses—way better than it had any right to be.
