Duck Tales 2 on the Game Boy is one of those classic Disney platformers that holds up way better than it has any right to. You're Scrooge McDuck, bouncing around on your cane like a pogo stick (still feels weirdly satisfying), hunting treasure across pirate ships and haunted castles. The controls are tight, the music’s catchy, and the levels have just enough secrets to make you want to poke around every corner.
It’s shorter than the NES version, sure, but the Game Boy port nails the charm—especially if you’re into that grainy, green-tinted nostalgia. I remember getting stuck in the Amazon level forever because I missed a hidden path behind some vines. Classic Capcom trickery.
If you’ve got a soft spot for retro Disney or just want a solid platformer that doesn’t overstay its welcome, this one’s worth digging up.
