Duck Tales 2 on the NES is one of those sequels that actually holds up—still has that classic Capcom platforming feel, but with a few extra tricks. You’re Scrooge McDuck again, bouncing around on your cane like some kind of wealthy pogo stick, hunting treasure across new maps like the Bermuda Triangle and Niagara Falls. The controls are tight, the music’s catchy (of course), and there’s even some light puzzle-solving if you’re into that.

What’s cool is they added a shop system this time—you can spend your hard-stolen cash on upgrades or hints, which helps if you get stuck. The levels branch out a bit more than the first game, so there’s some replay value in going back for missed paths. Not gonna lie, the final boss is a pain, but in that satisfying NES way where you actually feel like you earned the win.

If you liked the first one, this is more of that goodness with just enough new stuff to keep it interesting.
