Duck Adventures Game

Duck Adventures is one of those Game Boy platformers that just nails the simple, satisfying feel of early handheld gaming. You play as this little duck—no fancy backstory, just a duck hopping across ponds and dodging bees like it’s nobody’s business. The first level eases you in with some basic jumps, but by the second stage, you’re timing bounces on lily pads while collecting shiny coins (because of course ducks love treasure).
The pixel art has that chunky, colorful charm, and the music sticks in your head way longer than it should. I remember getting stuck on this one level with moving platforms—took me a few tries to stop overshooting the jumps. It’s not brutally hard, but it doesn’t hold your hand either. Perfect for quick plays or if you’re in the mood to 100% every stage.
If you’ve got a soft spot for old-school platformers, this one’s a solid time. Just watch out for the sneaky frogs.
