Dragon Tail Game

Dragon Tail is one of those Game Boy RPGs that somehow makes you forget how tiny the screen is—you just get sucked into its little world of pixel dragons and winding dungeons. At first, it feels like a typical fantasy quest, but then you realize the dragon tail mechanic actually matters—your attacks change depending on whether you swipe left or right, which sounds simple until you're frantically trying to dodge a fireball while countering.
The overworld music is weirdly catchy (I still hum it sometimes), and the towns have that classic "talk to everyone because someone's definitely hiding a key item" vibe. The puzzles aren't brutal, but a few had me scratching my head until I noticed some subtle tile patterns. If you've got a soft spot for late-era Game Boy games that pushed the hardware, this one's a solid playthrough.
