Double Yakuman Ii (japan) Game

Double Yakuman II is one of those deep-cut mahjong games for the Game Boy that hardcore fans swear by. It's Japan-only, so unless you read kanji, you'll be squinting at tiles and guessing your way through menus—but the core gameplay is solid if you already know your way around riichi rules.
First thing you'll notice? The AI doesn't mess around. It plays aggressively, like some old-timer at a smoky parlour who’s been doing this for decades. You’ve got a few modes to pick from, including a tournament ladder that’ll test your patience. And yeah, you can technically play it on an emulator these days, but it still feels best on a chunky old Game Boy screen with the sound turned way down at 2 AM.
Not for beginners, but if you’ve burned through other mahjong games and want something raw, this one’s got teeth.
