The game uses a screen by screen progression; you defeat all the foes in one section, and then the screen shifts to the next. Signature mechanics include picking up weapons like knives and whips dropped by enemies, and performing special moves like a spinning cyclone kick. The pacing is brisk, but the difficulty can spike sharply, especially during boss fights. It feels like a condensed, challenging brawl that tests your patience and reflexes.
