You control Harry Callahan, moving from left to right through city streets and buildings. Your main goal is to shoot drug dealers and confiscate the drugs they drop, while avoiding or shooting various enemies like thugs and attack dogs. A key mechanic is your limited .44 Magnum ammo; you have to collect more from defeated enemies to keep firing. The game also features platforming sections where you jump between ledges and over pits, and you occasionally find other weapons like a shotgun. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty is high, with enemies coming from all directions. It feels like a relentless fight where you are constantly managing your ammunition and positioning.
